New home appreciation.

Only one of the things mentioned in today’s pantoum of combined journal entries is shown in this photo [taken by me from my unseen balcony]. But I swear it’s all true.

Early morning
full moon beaming through blinds;
sun rising,
the sky is overcast & bright.

Full moon beaming,
wrens & kinglets whir;
sky, overcast & bright.
The water is four shades of blue.

Wrens & kinglets whir,
the occasional crow calls;
water, four shades of blue.
My balcony is a lifesaver.

The occasional crow calls,
sun rising,
the balcony is my lifesaver…
