I love your Friday thing thing. I wrote a post once that imagined how a museum curator would tell our story (my son’s story in particular) through objects - so many pieces in our hoard have things to say about us! Thanks for your book and music recs too!
I’m so glad it resonates! I’m excited to get into it. And I love your idea, too - when I taught state history, our first lesson involved dumping my garbage can and making guesses about me & my life based on what was in there. Even our discarded things tell stories - I want to be the one to set the narrative first though. :)

Ha, that sounds like a great class exercise - and a really good reminder to get rid of the stuff I don't want telling stories about me after I'm gone!
